Saturday August 22 saw us in concert in St Lawrence’s Community Church Bodmin.. The concert was chaired  by Bob Micek Bodmin town mayor  accompanied by his wife Rita. We had two soloist spots in the programme, the first was 4 songs from a young girl Stephanie  who sang very sweetly.the second solo spot was very unusual as it was a drum solo from a young man Jacob who was truly an amazing performer. The choir performed very well and as usual we were very well fed at the end.

The weekend eighth and ninth of May saw our friends from Luton in Bedfordshire police choir visit us down ere in Cornwall. We shared the stage for a wonderful joint concert in St Petrocs Church Padstow on Saturday evening and on their way home on Sunday morning at the choir boosted the normally very small congregation in St Lawrence’s community Church Bodmin, you should have heard the congregational hymns but perhaps more specially the three pieces that choir treated us to.

We look forward to our continuing relationship with Bedfordshire police choir.
